Yon-Ka combines aromachology and wellness with new treatments

Parisian skincare brand, Yon-Ka, has developed a range of aromatherapy treatments and products inspired by the provinces of France.

Designed to deliver a sensory experience, Aroma-Fusion is a customisable therapy that combines an aromatic concentrate with a body scrub and massage.

Consisting of four rituals - Getaway to Provence, A Walk in the Forest, Corsican Delight and Polynesian Journey - guests can choose to experience the treatments as they are, alternatively they can choose to create a bespoke treatment by selecting the concentrate, body scrub and even the massage technique used.

The treatments are designed to re-balance, relax, re-energise and revitalise guests, and each treatment has its own retail line of products including sugar scrubs, bath and body oils and hand creams.

Detox, used in Getaway to Provence, combines lavender essential oil with other ingredients including grape seed and sweet almond oils to provide 'a feeling of luxurious calm'. It features a relaxing bath treatment, body milk, detox body oil and scrub.

A Walk in the Forest uses Silhouette, a body oil that, when combined with particular movements, is designed to tone and contour the figure. It contains cedar, cypress, rosemary and pink pepper essential oils to reduce the appearance of cellulite

Corsican Delight's Vitality consists of a hand cream and an exfoliating sugar scrub, it has notes of sweet orange and mandarin to re-energise and ease stress, while Relax, used in Polynesian Journey, features a nourishing body oil and sugar scrub. It is formulated with tiare flower and jasmine to aid relaxation.

"We created a new collection based on aromachology and aromatherapy inspired by four French regions and their emblematic plants," said Yon-Ka export director, Bruno Le Deun.

"It combines effectiveness and wellbeing with aromatic concentrates, three types of body scrubs and four unique massage techniques. A retail range of nine products completes the journeys to Provence, French Forests, Corsica and French Polynesia"
